Privacy Policy

This policy covers markblakeconsulting.com (the “site”), operated by Rogerco LLC, which does business as Mark Blake Consulting (“we”, “us”). It explains what the site collects, why, and who else handles it.
Client work is covered by the agreement for that engagement, not by this policy.
The short version
- The site sets no cookies and has no ad trackers.
- Visitor counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or identify you.
- If you book a call or email us, we get what you choose to send and use it to reply and do the work.
- We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
What we collect
When you visit
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic request details (the page requested, your browser type, the referring page) so it can serve the page and block abuse.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t use local storage, and doesn’t track you across sites. We see totals: page views, referring sites, browser and device types, and country.
When you book a call
The booking calendar is run by Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, email address and anything you write in the booking form, and shares it with us so we can meet. The booking window is served by Cal.com and may set its own cookies. Cal.com’s handling of your information is covered by the Cal.com privacy policy.
When you email us
We receive your email address, your message and anything you attach.
How we use it
- To reply to you, hold the call you booked, and follow up about work you’ve asked about.
- To keep the site running and secure.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.
We won’t add you to a mailing list. If we ever start one, it will be opt-in.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and provides the analytics.
- Cal.com, Inc. runs the booking calendar.
- Our email and calendar providers store the messages and meetings you send us.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. If Rogerco LLC is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under the same commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep email and booking details for as long as we’re in touch, and for as long as we need records of past work for tax and legal purposes. Analytics are kept only as totals.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@markblakeconsulting.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. We’ll honor them.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords or other sensitive information by email.
Children
The site is meant for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
